Medicine Dance

Tuesday, February 17th, 2026 – 7:30pm – 9pm

Private Studio in Travis Heights – preregistration is required

Medicine Dance provides the opportunity for you to explore deeply intimate connections with both yourself and spirit through movement. Melissa Grogan provides light somatic facilitation while Jason Traweek provides the sounds and drumming to guide your experience. This is open to everyone of all abilities: no prior movement experience is needed.

Through movement and response to internal and external stimuli we arrive in the present moment. This practice is wonderful to support depth therapy, connection to the inner self and creativity, and safe expression in community.

Space is limited to 10 participants. Pre-registration is required. The address and instructions will be sent to you once you have registered.

Location: Private dance studio in the Travis Heights neighborhood, Austin, TX

$37 registration to guarantee your spot – no refunds on purchases

*Note* – This is NOT an ecstatic dance experience. Rather, this is a contemplative movement practice where the focus is inward. Eye contact, touch, and spectating are discouraged in this setting. We are together but on our own journeys.
